Although Medirex already had a digital laboratory infrastructure, many doctors still relied on paper requests, phone calls, and offline record handling. These processes were slow, inconsistent, and prone to mistakes, especially in environments with limited digital adoption. A major challenge was to create a system that would fit real clinical routines while remaining understandable and usable even for doctors with little or no digital confidence. The platform needed to reduce friction, not add another layer of complexity.
